By Train

If you travel to Amsterdam by train you will travel to Amsterdam Centraal Station (Central Station).

Amsterdam Centraal Station is right in the middle of the action. It’s close to the Red Light district and City Centre. The square in front of the station provides all kinds off public transportation, like 11 tramlines going to all parts of Amsterdam. The metro (subway, underground) brings you to the Eastern part of the city, including the Amsterdam ArenA.

By Plane

Amsterdam has got one airport, Schiphol Airport, which is located approximately 15 km. southwest from the city.
The airport is one of the biggest in Europe serving over 250 destinations and over a hundred airlines.
Other Dutch airports are located near Rotterdam and Eindhoven.

By Bus

International bus lines, like Eurolines, have Amsterdam scheduled as their destination. These busses are arriving and leaving from the internation bus station in front of the Amsterdam Amstel train station. From there you can take a train, taxi, bus, metro or tram into the city.
