The Dutch museum for cinematography. The collection of films covers the whole of the history of cinema from the late 19th century till now. Frequently the museum will organize film programmes, exhibitions and events. Once a year there are major thematic programmes examining the history of film and the modern day cinematographic developments. Every year the museum organizes open-air screenings and festivals.
